Saul, Saul! Take me up on my challenge so that at least we can have a conversation. Scott Hahn once believed and preached similarly to you. As an ordained minister from a Calvinist seminary he became a scripture scholar, and as such delved deep into biblical and hebraic history. He slowly discovered that these views were untenable. Early church history written by who? Marcion? Clement? While they were writting their history, they were killing the true founders of the Church. Read The book of Revelation or the Apocolypse of John in the Vulgate. There were only 7 churchs. None of them were in Rome. Daniel describes the beast, in Chapter 7 and 8. Rome is the City of 7 hills. The Vatican is the richest most powerful entity on the earth. And runs the world, through secret societies created by the Jesuit General the Black Pope

You have been misinformed and misled,if you are sincere in these beliefs. Be careful not to continue out of obstinancy. I challenge you to listen to Dr. Scott Hahn’s common objection series and to READ about the early church, the writings of her members, and the historical records. If you choose to remain so vehement against the Church that Christ Himself founded, at least you will do so in some knowledge, not ignorance. Educate yourself so that you will be a more effective witness. Peace.

I am so sorry that you are so sincerely mistaken. I recommend the book Four Witnesses the Early Church in Her Own Words by Rod Bennet. From the extant writings (which are abundant) of four early church fathers, oft quoted by protestant brethren, who lived, wrote, taught and were martyred in the first two centuries of the Church. That would be the One Holy Catholic Apostolic Church. I will pray that your zeal for the Truth will lead you always to Him.

MaxZagar : Good point ! I live in France (since 1971) and the notion of “Europe” is only figurative. If you go from France to Germany, you can feel that “Europe” has no psychological weight. The only thing that holds any weight, in terms “european” is the euro we all have to spend. The rest is just quick sand, illusions, psychological garbage or wishfull thinking… Go tell a Frenchman that he’s a “european”, ha, he’l just say that he’s a “frenchman” !
